The safety, security, health and well-being of our students, teachers, and staff members is a top priority of Learning Friends of Aledo. As a result of this ongoing commitment, our school implements annual training based on recommendations and guidance of The Fort Worth Police Department’s Emergency Preparedness/Incident Command Unit (EPIC). Through the onsite training received from EPIC, Learning Friends of Aledo is able to provide a safe and secure environment for the children to learn and grow.
Our emergency training that each staff member and teacher receives allows everyone to understand what to do in an emergency situation. In addition to the information provided to parents in their Parent Handbook, we have also implemented an emergency text system, which notifies families immediately should unsafe conditions arise.
On a daily basis, our standard security measures are unsurpassed. All doors are kept locked and entry is only allowed to the families of our students and individuals who are approved to enter. All teachers and staff undergo FBI background checks and fingerprinting. No student will be released to any unauthorized individual at any time without advance notice and proper identification.
We look forward to a healthy and successful school year!
